All About SHMS
Snow Hill Middle School is a community of learners! Our students have met the "adequate yearly progress" standard as established by No Child Left Behind. Our teachers are"highly qualified". Our community is active and involved in supporting the students' successes. Our 400+ student population in grades 4-8 live up to our Eagle Expectations: Respect yourself and others, respect our environment, & respect learning. We have been accredited through Middle States and recognized by the State of Maryland as a Character Education School of the Year. Through our Accreditation for Growth process, we annually review our three goals for academic achievement, parent involvement, and standards of behavior.
